Illness That Spread Across Hogs Baseball Team Not Only Contagion from A-State Shellacking

Not often does Arkansas take it on the chin from one of its little brothers. But on Tuesday, Arkansas State threw a hell of a punch.

The Red Wolves opened their two-game midweek series at Baum-Walker Stadium with a bang, launching five home runs in a resounding 12-4 win over the No. 6 Razorbacks. The biggest blow was an Ashton Quiller grand slam that put an exclamation point on a six-run second inning.

It was certainly an ugly showing by Dave Van Horn’s squad across the board, but it was also Arkansas’ first midweek game of the season.
