CLEMSON — Clemson jumped on top of Charlotte early on Tuesday and did not look back, as the 15th-ranked Tigers rolled to an 11-1 victory at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

“That is a good victory. I thought we played well in all three phases,” Clemson head coach Erik Bakich said. “That is a good hitting club. They have threats in their lineup up and down. We threw a lot of different arms tonight, and, outside of that home run, we were able to minimize the offensive opportunities over there.”

The Tigers (4-0) got home runs from Jacob Jarrell, Tryston McCladdie and Nate Savoie, as they run ruled the 49ers in seven innings.
