5-stars Lawrence, Thomas shine in the spotlight. Clemson was well represented on Saturday night when five-star commitments Trevor Lawrence and Xavier Thomas had big-time individual performances on national TV.
Lawrence led Cartersville (Ga.) High to a 52-45 win versus Bartram Trail (St. Johns, Fla.) as he completed 18 of 22 passes for 403 yards and four touchdowns.
Thomas, meanwhile, posted five quarterback hurries, four tackles and two pass breakups from his defensive end position in IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.
