CLEMSON — Michael Sharman was dominant in his Clemson debut, striking out eight across six shutout innings as No. 19 Clemson took down Army 10-0 in a run-rule win. The win clinches the weekend series for Clemson.

Sharman, who transferred in from Tennessee, was phenomenal in his first start of the season, holding the Black Knights scoreless while only allowing one base hit. He also did not walk a batter in picking up his first win of the season.

Hayden Simmerson, another transfer, came on to pitch the final two innings, striking out the final four hitters he faced.
