ATLANTA – Four Panthers to recorded two hits as Georgia State defeated New Orleans 10-6 on Opening Day at the GSU Baseball Complex on Friday evening.
Georgia State (1-0) and New Orleans (0-1) will conclude their series with a doubleheader on Saturday, February 14 at the GSU Baseball Complex. First pitch is at 1:05 p.m.
Nick Garagozzo, Hunter Carlson, Wesley Bass and Jae Williams led the Panther offense with two hits each. Garagozzo drove in three runs, Carlson drove in two, and Bass drove in one on a solo home run, his first collegiate hit, in the sixth inning.
