INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts decided to take a bit of a gamble with their second pick of the fifth round.

Indianapolis used the pick to take linebacker E.J. Speed, a little-known prospect from Division II Tarleton State who started his career as a quarterback and wide receiver.

Speed was also arrested last fall, but the charges were eventually dismissed.
