J’Marcus Webb is coming back to Indianapolis. The Colts announced that they had brought back the backup tackle. Webb had signed a one-year deal last offseason to join the Colts, and even started week 1 while Anthony Castonzo was injured.
Unfortunately for Webb, he suffered a season ending injury in that week 1 game. Webb has mostly been a backup in his career that has spanned 8 seasons. He hasn’t shown the ability to be a starter, but has shown the ability to be a pretty decent backup.
Signing Webb gives the Colts more depth at the tackle position, a place where they haven’t had a bunch of depth in the past.
