This overlooked pitching prospect has a wide open path at Dodgers spring training

The Dodgers' bizarre three-team trade with the Reds and Rays at last year's trade deadlines ended up paying dividends no one expected. LA sent Hunter Feduccia to Tampa Bay and got backup catcher Ben Rortvedt and pitcher Paul Gervase from the Rays, and pitching prospect Adam Serwinowski from the Reds.

They let go of Rortvedt after the 2025 season, but he was an essential piece of the Dodgers' late-season success and the beginning of their postseason run, as both Will Smith and Dalton Rushing were sidelined with injuries.

Gervase got two major league innings after the trade, but he looks like a clear roster crunch victim if the Dodgers need to make room on the 40-man.
