LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State opened its weekend at the Troy Cox Classic on Friday afternoon at the NM State Softball Complex with a doubleheader against No. 4 Oklahoma and Montana. The Aggies saw early offensive sparks in both contests, including multiple extrau2011base hits in the opener and a late surge in the nightcap. After a tough start against the Sooners, NM State responded with a strong allu2011around performance to close out day one of the tournament.
