The 2017-18 campaign is still in its infancy for the SU hoops program, and it’s fair to say that the current roster remains a work in progress.
Four freshmen, a redshirt freshman, a graduate transfer and only one returning starter have provided head coach Jim Boeheim with one of his least experienced crews in recent memory.
This group will, undoubtedly, witness a bunch of growing pains. Whether the Orange is ultimately destined for March Madness, or yet again relegated to the NIT, will not become clear for a few months.
While only three games in to this term, we should feel encouraged about the present state of the ‘Cuse’s performance to date.
