Qatari club rival Charlton for Antonio

Michail Antonio is in talks with Qatari club Alu2011Sailiya as well as Championship side Charlton Athletic as he looks to return to regular football following his near-fatal car crash.

The former West Ham striker is keen to return to regular football and is currently training at Charlton's base in southu2011east London.

Negotiations with both clubs are ongoing.

The 35-year-old featured for Jamaica at June's Concacaf Gold Cup after recovering from the accident, which happened in December 2024.

West Ham released Antonio in August and he later had a short spell training with Leicester City before suffering a minor setback.
