BOISE, Idaho — Wichita State took down previously unbeaten Denver, 5-2, on Saturday at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center.
The Shockers (5-7) earned their second consecutive win over Denver (4-1) and their fourth in their last five matches against the Summit League powerhouse Pioneers.
In doubles, the Shockers jumped on Denver early as and won 6-2 at No. 3. The Pioneers answered with a 6-3 win over and , sending the doubles point to be decided at No. 1.
In a close match, and prevailed in a tiebreak, 7-6 (5), to clinch the doubles point for Wichita State.
